Default Got a new one for you guys !!

While driving along with everything being "normal"…..all of sudden the radio comes on (AM/FM) by ITSELF and lasts for a couple of seconds and then turns off. This has happened twice now and keep in mind that I have the audio set to play from my memory stick, but the audio is OFF. Another Jaguar glitch ! And forget the battery issue…..have new battery and have no other glitches or low battery issues.

What year and model do you have?
Have the audio module reflashed! There is a TSB for it on some years.

What actually does the re-flashing of the audio module do ? It is 09 XF-SC !

Mine is a 12 XF. The audio module controls all aspects of the audio system. Anything goes wrong and a re-flash will sometimes correct the problems if it is software related. Re-flash is just another way to say re-load the software in car speak. Its all software that runs things in these cars today.
