Headlight bulb upgrade 2010 jag xfr
I was wondering if I should put different bulbs in my headlights because they're not very bright at all that I usually drive around with the brights on because that's usually what other cars look like anyway so I was wondering if someone can give me a bulb number and a place or what I should be doing to replace the originals to make them brighter or maybe like the originals which are super bright I think I'm not sure please help me out with the bulb Choice thank you
Have you checked that they are aimed correctly?
I spent a lot of money and purchased the factory LED headlights for my 2014 XJR. After install they did not seem to work all that well?
But after I re-aimed them it was a night and day difference! Both of my Jaguars have had the head lights aimed too low. How they got that way I am not sure? Maybe from the factory?
Do you know where the adjusters are on your car?

I highly recommend switching out the original halogens for LED’s. I just did mine and cannot believe how much easier it is to see the road at night.
if you do switch, make sure you check and see if your low beams are H7 or H11 connection. My owners manual said I needed H7 so I ordered a set of the H7’s, as well as the special connecting rings required for the H7’s, but after removing the headlight I realized my low beams were H11.
The H11’s I ordered were a simple plug and play and required no connecting ring to attach to existing. Here’s a link to the H7 connecting rings if needed…….

As far as the LED bulbs, I’d recommend the type with the built-in fan over the ones that utilize heat sinks. Also anywhere from 35W-55W is ideal, but no more than 55W.
Here’s a link to a great video on switching out the halogens for LED.
