Default Hello folks! I need a quick price check UPDATE: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Have a shot at a 2013 XFR with 5800 miles on it. One owner car. Sitting in dealers showroom. Going to check it out tomorrow. Ask is $69,990. They claim they have a little wiggle room but not much. I'm thinking of offering $67,990. Car is immaculate.

Thoughts, comments?

Lots of folks will tell you that's too much money. Then ask them for where near Atlanta you can get one at a dealer for less! Offer 67,000 and I bet they take it. Is it on Piedmont, or up north? There is an advantage if you buy from the dealer in case you have a dispute, like which oil is in it or something.

Personally I think you can get it for less. Maybe offer 65 and see what happens. I just bought a 2012 xf supercharged. It had 1000 miles on it and I paid 20% off MSRP.

Lets see, 80% of the lowest MSRP is $66560... Of course the real number that matters is what they put on the bottom line before state taxes. Beware documentation fees and stuff they try and slip on. That's one of the reasons I asked about which dealer. In spite of other shortcomings, I have found the one on Piedmont drive does not seem to play that game.
And, for a used low miles car, the in "in service date" for warranty is important.
Good luck. The XKR is a pile of fun!

You will love it! If you use Hennessy North Point, ask for Pete Alveraz in service.

LOL! I'm 52. The vette had to go as I reached a point in my life where I still love high performance but want comfort and practicality as well. I'll miss the vette but I am sure the XFR will be a blast and a great fit for my stage in life.

I will keep that in mind since that is my nearest Jag service center.
