Default Hello from a new XFR Member

Hi Folks!

Just picked up a very low mileage 2014 XFR a few weeks ago and thought I'd post a couple of pics and say hi from Ottawa, Canada! Fantastic car and have already had a few opportunities for some long road trips.

Any other members from around this area - feel free to say hi!

Cheers!

Gorgeous toy, I mean car - enjoy!

I have an older one but still love her when she behaves.

Looks great!
Looks like pretty much everything has been blacked out, with no chrome left at all.
The only things I can see which are not blacked out are the side vent "Jaguar" bits, but they can be painted or wrapped to complete the job.

Welcome and enjoy your fabulous car! I love the black wheels.

FWIW, I like the chrome side vent badge and would leave it as is.

Thanks for the warm welcome all! Much appreciated

OzXFR and sybarite - definitely have me thinking! I'm still debating whether I like the chrome or want it all black.. Depends on the day!

The first real mod I'd like to explore is a new exhaust - she sure is quiet! I also have a BMW 435xi with a sports exhaust and I love the noise... Have been reading through the forums and pondering doing some further exploration into the Mina package..

I forgot - the brake calipers are red, maybe paint them black too!
And the centres of the wheel hubs which appear to be grey.
Both are dead easy to do with a rattle can of gloss black caliper paint.
