hey yall I have a 2011 Jaguar XF R (supercharged version) & it’s at about 170,000 miles. Starting back in like November it had an issue with leaking coolant & my RPM’s constantly going up and down while driving. It’s been to two different shops now for the same problem, or so i think that same problem. the first place i paid $1500 & the did basically nothing but plug my leak up. 😅 the second place, i paid about $2500 & the replaced a bunch of hoses & some other **** I can’t remember lol. (i’m just a girl) the only thing they didn’t replace bc they said it’s “not worth it” was some leak i had with a gasket & told me it wouldn’t affect the car as long as i take care of it and keep up with maintenance but any way, fast forward to today and it’s not leaking coolant any more but it’s making the WORST whining noise as soon as you start it up, drive it, idle it, doesn’t matter. its also doing this weird thing when i hit my brakes to slow down my rpm’s sky rocket. any one have any idea what this could be ??? seeing if anyone has any suggestions before i take it back into the shop.
