Ok I figure most of you already know this but I was a huge welcome surprise to me. I had chrome side vents on my black xf which I did not like ( I prefer the black on my black car ) well I was looking at buying set of painted ones but wanted to make sure that what I wanted so I covered the chrome with black vinyl to see the look. When I pealed off the vinyl I noticed the chrome was a little loose. I was able to pry off the chrome and guess what I found, BLACK PAINTED VENTS!

I'm actually looking at the reverse of what you were going for. Just bought an indigo blue xf and i'd like to get the chrome vents. sounds like it's a pretty off and on process. we'll see how it goes once i get the new vents.
