How do you guys get your best acceleration?
I know we have all sorts of stability controls, sport modes, paddle shifters, etc. I am wondering, for those rare occasions, if I want to achieve absolute best 0-60 times, what I should do as far as sport modes, turning off traction control systems, manual shifting, etc. What do you guys think? Sorry if this is a dumb question; Im new to Jaguar. By the way, I have a '12 XF naturally aspirated
I would put the gear selector in Sport mode (using paddles shifters will probably slow you down, i wouldn't even bother with those0. Activate Dynamic mode if the car is equipped with it and punch it.
You can also disable traction control, which may result in some wheel spin, but it might still get you better times, since it really gets the power down to the ground.
