How to repair or replace only the outer "metal" part of the right side vent trim?

Default How to repair or replace only the outer "metal" part of the right side vent trim?

2013 Jaguar XF. The front of my passenger side vent trim seems to be warping on the bottom. I noticed it's like an adhesive piece attached to the entire vent trim unit. Can this adhesive piece be replaced? D

Does anyone know if the material is aluminum? Can the bottom part be smoothed out to make it look better?

That looks like tool damage. The bit above your circle looks deformed too.
I doubt if there’s anything you can do to make it pretty again
I would replace the whole part

Found a guy locally who deals in metal fabrication. The part that was damaged is some kind of hard plastic material. He was able to gently tape it back into place:
