Default Intermittent blind spot error

2010 XF Supercharged will randomly get the blind spot error on console. I clean the sensors around both bumpers, error goes away. The error may randomly return again in 10 to 14 days. I wonder if someone may be bumping into the car, tripping the sensors while its parked at work all day. There is alot of foot and vehicle traffic in the parking lot. Thank you.

Sensors for the blind spot are on the bottom of the side mirrors. You're cleaning the parking sensors.

So suffice it to say, if someone bumped the mirrors while walking by it could trip the sensors. All i know is that when the sensors around the bumpers are cleaned the error immediately clears.

So here is what I learned. Yes the blind spot sensors are in the mirror, but the blind spot module is located behind the rear bumper. Maybe there is a loose or bad connection at the module.
