I have a 2011 XF Premium the tilt steering does not work. The column adjust auto and manual will display but nothing moves. I took the car to the dealer and they said it was not a physical mechanical issue and must be software related. They want me to bring the car back in so they can consult with Jaguar corporate download from car and try to diagnose. They can't provide me with an estimated cost and the car is not under warranty.

Well my service writer never charges me for ANY software updates, but I bring him beer sooo?..lol

 

Find an independent Jaguar mechanic and get an estimate. Based on the estimated costs maybe you could just live with the current location of the steering wheel.
