I had a strange breakdown on my jag xf 3.0d 2012, that has 80 000 km (appr 50 000miles). I got a low coolant level alarm and before I could pull over the car switched off. It wouldnt start again. The dealer diagnosed that the starter motor had failed, the same time as there was a coolant leak. I find the 2 failures too co-incidental not to be related particularly given the mileage. In addition the dealer informs me that the injectors need to be replaced, all of them, and that it is a sealed unit. They are not able to repair the injectors or replace only that which needs to be replaced because it is a sealed unit. Currently quoting about $6000 to repair. What are your views on why the failure occured and if they are related.
