My XF 2011 suddenly started showing the red alert for Alternator Not Charging. I replaced the alternator with a new one and verified charge and all is correct but alarm still shows.
What can I do? No symptoms in car performance. Everything works but my radio but that´s another story.

 

There's a wire that runs from the bms on the negative terminal across to the positive terminal, this wire contains a fuselink, if the fuselink has blown or is fractured then the warning light will show.
