I don't know where it is located, but just to be certain, you do have your headlights on when trying to turn on the rear foglight, correct?

And please don't post the same exact thing four times. Once will work just as well and without offending the readers.

The rear fog light button is beolow the air vent on the driver's side of the vehicle (closest to the driver's window). When the switch is activated, there is an additional light on the dash in the instrument panel that illuminates in amber in addition the regular light that illuminates in green (the green light is on the left and the amber light is one the right). Both of these illuminated lights are at the bottom of the tachometer dial.

Are you seeing both of these lights illuminated?

DPF is "diesel particulate filter". This warning comes on when you have been driving short distances rather than longer ones and the particulate filter is getting full. It is designed to self-clear but can only do it when engine runs hot for a while. The filter clears itself only when the engine is operating at optimum temperature and this requires you to drive for about 20mins at a speed higher than 40mph or so. Go for a highway run for half an hour and it will clear itself. If it doesn't, you need to visit your dealer.
