Default Jaguar XF Headlight remove

I have a 2013 jaguar XF RWD 6 Cyl, I want to take the headlight unit out of the car. I took out all 3 screws but still i couldn't get the box out. am i missing something? Do I need to remove bumper in order to get the headlight unit out?

I followed below video but this seems to be not working.

Thank you in advance.

That video is of the earlier model XF X250, 2008-2011 (also known as "classic"), you have a later model XF X250, 2012-2015 (also known as "facelift") with different headlights and a different removal technique.
I have read somewhere that to get your headlights out you need to not only remove the three bolts but drop the front bumper a little (no need to take it right off), by removing the bolts and screws across the top (under the hood).

As far as I am aware and having had the bumper off the car at one point, I don't see any way around the headlights being taken out without having to remove the bumper.

Removing the bumper was a reasonably easy job on both my 2010 XFS and 2010 XFR, I did it several times and it's nowhere near as scary as you might think, just lots of screws and bolts to remove underneath and on top and a few electrical plugs to disconnect and off it comes. I believe the "facelift" bumper comes off just as easily, my main tip is to have a helper hold one end while you pull the other end away from the bodywork so as not to accidentally drop it.

On my 2010 at least, I think it's far easier to remove the rear bolts to the undertray/splash guard that's attached to the bumper, remove the bolts on the top of the bumper, and then remove the bumper and the splash guard as a single unit.

Yeah, it is fairly simple, just a lot of screws. There are a few plastic screws that have to be removed on the wheel well liners just as an FYI, I believe only 2 per side. IIRC

I will see if I can get pictures from the workshop manual on Monday if that helps.

Just get a helper and put a drop cloth on the floor so you have somewhere to set the cover after it comes off. Very easy to damage the bumper cover when it's off the car.
