Default Jaguars are 2nd in reliability

Great news for all Jaguar fans, in the latest J.D Power rankings Jaguar jumped from 20th to 2nd in reliability last year.

I filled out that survey. I think it was J. D. Power. They sent it to me shortly after I bought the car. I told my husband I was going to do my part to redeem Jaguar from it's former reputation. And they put a dollar in the envelope so I felt obligated.

We're on our way to work in the Dallas area and they just said on the radio that Jaguar was #2 for reliability on the J. D. Powers list. That was good to hear. Probably got a lot of people's attention!

Hate to be a wet blanket but this is JD Power's Initial Quality Study (which measures the 1st 90 days of ownership) not their more important annual dependability study (which measures the 1st three years). Jaguar was 5th from last in the 2012 dependability study I believe.

This is still a big jump for them from last years IQS when they were around 21st. Very good news for Jag.
