Can someone send me a link to what k&n filter to buy? I want to make my car louder but not change the sound and when I installed k&n on my rx8 it did awsome to make the car louder I am hoping it will do the same.

I have a Jaguar xf 2010 V8 5.0L will this make the Jaguar any louder then it is. Because it is really quiet.

 

Is there any different between filter and k&n air intake and a filter? I just want the best for a Jaguar xf.

 

If you want louder, look at the Mina galleries exhaust system.

 

If it makes it louder, it will just make a louder sucking noise from the front of the car. But given how well the XF is insulated from noise, I doubt you will notice anything.

It's definitely not going to make the exhaust noticeably louder.

 

When I bought my XFR the exhaust was stock and the previous owner had K&N filters in it. My service tech recommended that I switch back to the OEM filters for several reasons. When I did, there was no difference at all in the sound of the car. Adding the Mina Gallery exhaust definitely made a difference there.

 

The best? OEM filter.
