Can I replace shell only and use OEM key into the shell? My shell is completely destroyed and falls apart when I inset my house keys into door knob lol, (I swear dealership gave it to me looking like this already) I have a 2012 XF Base 5.0 V8

It wont have the “Jaguar” inscription on the back of new cover, so you can switch that out if you want also.
These also (usually) come with a new blank key that you can have laser cut by a locksmith.

 

Thank you brother! discussed with the wifey and insisted that we get a spare key as well, so I guess I'll be buying two of these and have one of them programmed since you stated I could just switch My old key over too the new Shell.

 

Those ones I linked are the shell only...they have no internals.
If you want one that can be programmed, those cost a bit more.
