Hi,
New to the forum so don't know if this an old question, I purchased a 2013 XF 2.2D luxury yesterday and assumed it had keyless entry.exit, it states in the booklet how it works but cant find any sensor on door handle and have to use fob to lock/unlock, does anybody know if this is an issue or does it simply not have keyless entry

Paul, with the car locked put the fob in your pocket, walk up to the car door and just pull the handle and it will open.
If you don't want to use the fob when locking the car just press the little black button on the outside of the door handle and walk away.

That's how it works.

 

I know thats whats supposed to happen but nothing happens when i walk up and end up having to press the fob

 

Ok, you didn't make that clear in your first post.

Check these 2 fuses.
F13 5A for the receiver and
F30 20A for the keyless entry module.

Both fuses are in the junction box central. If they are ok then you will need to get the fault codes to pin point the problem.

 

Do your handles look like this?



If not then you do not have keyless entry/exit.

On my 2013 XF V6 AWD, keyless entry was part of the Convenience Pack that also included intelligent high beams, electric rear sunblind and auto-dimming external mirrors.
