Default Door Handle Seals

Hello,

I am a new jag owner and I love my XKR 2000 4.0 V8 SC.

I have a few rubber seals that are perished and in need of replacement but I am having trouble finding replacements can any one advise where I might be able to source replacements for the below components?

Door handle seals.
Electric window weather strip.

Peter,

The door handle seals aren't listed separately in JEPC. They are included with the handle assembly. A specialist Jaguar breaker such as Eurojag in Darlington may be able to help with good used ones.

By 'electric window weather strip' do you mean the metal/rubber Door Waist Rail? If so, forum sponsor S N G Barratt are showing stock of the bright finish but the black finish is no longer available.

Hello Graham,

Thanks, that is why I cant find any :-( oh well I will have to replace the door handles by the looks of it even quicker now as I found some that the garage that serviced had been picking at them. (hate putting my cars in garages just to get stamps in the book)

Its the metallic silver metal and rubber seal that is on the out side on top of the door where the window goes down I will try and take a photo when it stops raining.

Peter,

Good to hear you found a source.

Nothing stopping you posting a link here to the supplier provided you aren't promoting something you are selling yourself.

Default Here they are

I finally have them and have and they look good here is a photo of what you get from Jagbits I have to say the postage was a bit expensive at $50.00 plus £28.25 import.

I will let you see the before and after when I have fitted them. It might be a few weeks though as I am working on my headlining this weekend.

My next-door neighbour sons comment on signing for it on my behalf was "why has next-door received an empty box in the post"

Ouch!

The shipping was bad enough but our Border Force inspection charge on US parcels always annoys me because it's inconsistent and disproportionate. Sometimes I've had parcels from the US unopened with zero charge and other times it's been up to £36 for an inspection.
