I found this wedged between lower front corner of the LH front door and door jamb. Even when looking at the RH side I cannot find out where it belongs. It could of course be that it has fallen off totally at the RH side. Does anybody know where it belongs? Alternatively could you post a photo or three of the gap arounf the hinges with the door fully open?

OK found out where it goes: It sits beneath the upper rear edge of the front wing. Part of the wind noise sealing. The seal is damaged but I believe I can fins some sealing to repair and then back it goes with a blob of glue. No wonder I thought the wind noise had increased lately.

 

It's behind the fender. Mine dropped out 3 years ago and I have a new piece that I still haven't installed lol

That little nipple on it breaks off and that's what causes it to fall.

 

I repaired and installed mine yesterday. Very fiddly. Windnoise back to low normal :-)
