Left mirror not tilting down when put into reverse. Have turned this on in the system.

I've had this problem before.

The most likely things are:
- software: the control computer has got confused about what its supposed to be doing
- hardware: there is a problem with the mirror electronics or wiring and the ECU either doesn't know what position the mirror is in to move it, or the position/move signal isn't reaching the mirror.

Can you move the mirror around using the joystick adjuster? If so then the motor bit is still working so its more likely to be the computer is confused, if you can hard reset it then that might fix it (you'll need to make it relearn the position you want it to be in when reversing).

or

you may need to adjust the mirror while in reverse to your desired position , and then once removed from reverse the mirror will return to its preset driving position

then when you select reverse, it will dip down to where you set it before
