Hi guys,

I'm considering one of the non supercharged V8 XF's but finding it hard to set a budget for maintenance. I'm not hearing horros stories on these (like ahem BMW V8's) but cant seem to find a ballpark figure. So what would you set aside each year so that when something comes up, life goes on like normal. For example, I keep around
1000 euro (I'm from the netherlands) ready for my alfa 156 V6 and have not had any large supluis costs. You can off course have a good year where you end up not spending everything and also a year where you might have to spend a bit more but you set this amaount aside evereyu year.

Some pointsUitgangspunten
- nice occasion, max 160.000 km with decent maintance history
- not much kilomteres per year , max 3500 km (school run and some tunnel blastingh here and there.
- mainteance by a specialist not the dealer

What would you set aside? Around 1500 dollars? 2000 dollasr a year? more/less?
