Default MY 2012 XFR Front Caliper Pin Size

I finally got around to changing the front brake pads on my XFR. All of the write- ups I have read for XF brake changes say the caliper pins are 9 mm hex. The ones on my car are not 9 and are bigger than 10 but apparently smaller than 12. I do not have an 11 mm hex driver (yet!). Can anyone confirm that the caliper pin has indeed got an 11mm hex head?

Mine (2010 XFR) are definitely 9 mm hex, never heard of any other size on any XF, including 2012 - 2015 "facelift" models. Something strange going on!

Thanks, guys
Indeed, I just "missed the hole" with the 9mm hex wrench. There is an inside shoulder that I did not expect and I was feeling that when I tried the 10 mm socket. Back in the old days when I could see, I might not have made this mistake!
Only additional comment is that, like other posters, after the rear brakes were down to 4 mm pad thickness and cut the sensors, the fronts are still 6mm or more thickness.
