In need of some help or if anyone else has experienced this. My car decided to breakdown on me and completely shut off while driving. Motor itself and not the electronics. Thankfully I was able to steer the vehicle to the side of the road. Prior to it shutting off on me, I’ve had only 1 check engine light and the code was P0263.

This code never really changed my driving experience and it would go away by itself. Didn’t think to bother diving into it instead ignoring it. Even though the car was running fine.

Then Thursday morning the car decides to take a dump on me. Towed it home and checked the engine, battery, oil, coolant and nothing was missing or low. Battery seemed to be at around 12.60 volts not running. I can’t think of what’s the issue but the vehicle won’t crank over and the gear shift knob won’t even lift up.

Not sure it’s the alternator, fuel issue, sensors, starter, or computer/electronics. Car literally seems like it went into a shutdown or ecu locked the motor from starting up before things get worse haha.

These other 3 codes came up on the same day when I broke down.



I don’t know if it’s a voltage thing, but these cars don’t do well with low battery from what I’ve seen.

If anyone could help or has experienced this same situation, I’d greatly appreciate the help. I really need to know what’s the issue and that I can hopefully fix it myself.

The car also has 114k miles. New spark plugs, new battery and did the fuel system reservoir recall issue in the tank.
