My first upgrade
No, and if it did, I would have corrected it. Used to happen all the time when I had an Audi, people "upgrading" their cars to S4, RS4 etc on a regular or S Line A4. Of course the car companies have a hand in that offering "S-Line" packages that have the cosmetics. Of course the irony is at the end of the day, anybody familiar with the marque knows what to look for regardless of the badge and those who don't, don't know what the badge is supposed to mean. I'm not a member of the badge police, do what you want to your car but don't do it because you think you're fooling someone ;-)
Most people have a hard time telling if a car is an Audi or a Nissan especially if you debadge them, and whether it's new or ten years old. At the end of the day what your car looks like matters mostly to you because you are the one paying the bills and you are the one looking at it from day to day. So I guess if you like what it looks like with or without the badge it's your decision alone.
Sure I don't like people putting M stickers on 320's and I won't give them much respect for that matter, but then again if they like it what does my opinion matter?
Frankly I prefer to rather debadge, say if I had a 320 and wished it was a 335 I'd just take the 320 badge off completely and perhaps put some nice wheels on and lower it..

This is the way to do it. Keep them guessing if you don't actually have it. Don't be a poser.
