Hi guys. I just bought myself a 2011 XF (base, I think). When I test drove it the navigation screen, radio, etc worked. A few weeks later before I bought it I was told the screen started flickering. No problem I figure so I started searching the forums and found the post by 'jaguarxfv8' that I thought would be my savior, but so far no luck. I have a few questions and I am hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction to continue troubleshooting. So far I have replaced the bluetooth module and the 'portable audio module' that are located under the drivers seat; both were in good shape (satellite radio module was not replaced). The battery in the car was from 2014 and had a low charge; The battery was replaced despite testing 'good'.

So my questions are:

• Is my next line in troubleshooting the Navigation DVD Player in the trunk?
• I cannot eject from it or insert anything to it. This leads me to believe this is the problem. Is there a way to bypass it since I really don't care about the build-in navigation.
  • I assume the dvd player in the trunk should have power and be able to eject/insert even if the screen is flickering. Is this a true statement?
• I have not pulled the trunk lining down to take a close look at the Navigation DVD Player yet, I assume it is connected by fiber?
• I have seen references to a fiber loop for bypassing, I don't *think* I have seen a source to buy these or even clear directions on how to DIY.
• I think I am running out of parts that could cause the failure; is there anything else I should look for?
