Yes that's a sign you have no or low vacuum to the booster. These cars are a very hard to stop without vacuum. I mean like both feet pushing as hard as you can difficult!

I want to thank you for you continually checking in by the way!
You are more than right as to the difficulty of the breaking.
Is a simple replacement going to work? Or are there any particular that are better and/or last longer than others?!
I will be able to look closer at it today and upload photos of it as well to be more helpful!!

Well until you get under the car and look. Who knows?

If the tubing is damaged I don't think any codes are thrown. So see what's going on. No point in replacing the vacuum pump if the tubing is damaged. These are gear driven vacuum pumps and I have never seen one fail. The problems are first-Oil leaks. There are 2 O-rings that can leak. Second problem is possible vacuum leaks and/or tubing damage.

Just to add to the confusion VAP has released an electric vacuum pump because they have seen breaking serpentine belts that have destroyed the vacuum tubing resulting in a car that you almost can not stop. Very dangous. I was not aware that these cars are so difficult to stop without vacuum. But it is a real problem.

VAP has also released an improved serpentine belt tensioner as they found the stock one to have problems.

If the vacuum pump and tubing check out you could have a PB booster failure. Again rare and I am not sure I have read or seen one fail. But I am sure it is possible!
