Default Negative battery lead earth cable has no measured resistance.

My 2011 xf 3.0d is completely electrically dead...There is no resistence measurement at the battery earth lead connection?

There shouldn't be resistance between the earth lead and the chassis, the negative battery post is supposed to have a good connection to the chassis via the earth cable, it carries the entire electrical load. Have you measured the battery voltage?
