Hello everyone i had a dumb question just bought our first Jaguar and boy do we love it
its a 2016 XF R sport bought used off carmax had 29k miles on it and now presently has 35k miles took her in to get services at closest jaguar dealer about 4hrs away
at 30k miles tht was about 10 months ago and not due in till sep 2020 wow is that correct??
also they told me car was part of the Elite car package and didnt have to pay for the service wow again
but now just last week got a call from them trying to sell me extended warrenty i told them not yet my car should still have the factory 5yr or 60k mile on it they kept trying to tell me it was expired Huh? Long story short should my car still carry the factory warrenty even if im the second owner??

1. Don;t wait that long to change the oil, you'll be sorry
2. Call the dealer, sounds like you are being called by one of those scam sellers. I never had a dealer call and try to sell a warranty

Also, your car is not a X250 so your on the wrong forum. Sorry

I'm confused on your service timing. You had it serviced 10 months ago (Sep 2019). So yes / the next service is due in September 2020 (month after next). It's annual or (i think) 16,000 miles (whichever comes first) but would agree with others that you should oil change more frequently than that
And on warranty depends on your country but it should be the 5yr 60k warranty and it does transfer with owners. But it starts at the 'in service' date of the vehicle. For a 2016 US model year that could be any time after about May or June 2015. So it's possible that it has just run out of warranty if it was an early model year car
