Default Newbie ?'s

Hi guys, I am new to the forum and have been trying to search as much as possible and have been reading the xfforum.co.uk also. I have a few questions that hopefully someone can me with:

1) I have the 19" XF Premium wheels and want to upgrade to 20" wheels but I am looking for ideas and dont seem to find very many XF's with aftermarket wheels/rims. Does anyone have them on and if so can you post some pics? Would I be better doing 245/35/20 all round or 255/35/20 all round? (I don't really want to do staggered sizes so I can rotate the wheels when necessary without issue)

2) How do I add satelite radio to the vehicle, its an 09 and doesnt have it, can it be retrofitted? plug and play module?

3) The headlights are a lot dimmer than I am used to, what upgraded bulbs is everyone using or is there a way to fit HID's without voiding warranty?

Thanks for the help in advance!

aftermarket HID headlight will void warrenty if we find out if the vehicle is having a problem and the aftermarket HID is causing it.

wheels if you going bigger them you have to tell the car that you put bigger wheels cause the traction light have flash on you at times.

if the XF didn't come with factory satelite them you have to go aftermarket. which again if the aftermarket causes problems with the car no warrenty.

We put a set of chrome avarus av4 on our xf. It gets lots of compliments. I stayed with the 19" rim though. The 20" rim looked a little too "pimped". American racing sells a couple of styles of 20" rims. Go to tirerack.com and input your car for some ideas.

Default Bulbs?

Are there any bulbs that would be recommended since I don't want to void the warranty? I have read that Ring +100 bulbs are good and also last a decent amount of time. Anyone have experience with PIAA's or other bulbs that would give a brighter and whiter light?

I installed the PIAA's in my high beam since my low beams are HID. No problem with them and the light is much whiter then then stock blubs which gives off a more yellowish tint. You may also want to check out iJDMToy.com for other lighting tips. I also upgraded my HID blubs and they really look great and produce more light in the spectrum that your eyes see in. After market Hids are illigal in a lot of places, so if you go that route, you may have to change your headlight lense.
As far as wheels and tires, Tire rack has a great selection. The 255 all the way around should not give you a issue.
And there are Satelite tuners that are plug and play, I think you can contact Sirus Satelite radio for one of those. My neighbor has one in his 09 Tahoe, Thats all he listen to during his travels.
