Default OEM Mufflers

When I first got my '11 XFR, I replaced my cat-back mufflers immediately with QuickSilver exhausts. The OEM mufflers have been sitting in my garage ever since then.

Fast forward to today, and I've replaced the XFR with...a 911 Turbo. So I have no need for the OEM mufflers. If anyone wants them, I'll give them away so long as you pay shipping. If no takers, I guess they get recycled, since they're made of stainless steel.

Where are you located. I have a 2009 xf and will check on whether the muffers are compatable

They are only compatible if you have the 5.0 engine. The piping from the mufflers to the center section are different than the 4.2.

Would love to get these from you for my MY10 XF. Has the 5.0 and really like the quad look of the XFR exhaust. Please let me know if they are still available. Anyway to get some pics? In Houston, TX for shipping quote.

They are still available but depending on how far away you are, the shipping costs could be substantial. I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area and traded-in my XFR at Sonnen Porsche.

For shipping cost estimates, figure on shipping from San Francisco. Since I'm giving these away but still have to contend with packaging and bringing them to the shipper, anyone who wants them has to do the homework on how to ship them and for how much. Also, we need to figure a way for payment so I don't get stuck with the shipping bill. PM me if interested.

I'm going to miss you and your car. I thought the "passenger eject option" in your console was the coolest thing ever.

Thanks. I may drop by from time to time. You will be pleased to know that the "Passenger Eject" button lives on in the Porsche!

Thanks. Here are a couple pics. The color is very close to the Jag's, though a tad brighter, lighter.

At the dealership.

Wow! GORGEOUS car! I feel like I'm on the verge of something like that, soon. I got a 4-door because I used to have clients in my car all the time, but that's rarely the case anymore. While I'll definitely keep my XFR for a long time, I'm starting to look for an additional toy.

Anyway, I haven't been on the forum much of late, and I realize that it's been over a year and a half since you got your 911t, so you probably don't come to this forum anymore, but I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all that you contributed, and am really sad to hear that you left us. Happy driving!

Thanks for the kind words. The auto-subscribe feature works, as it pinged me with the latest post, so I thought I'd drop by.

The 911 turbo has been great! Besides a couple of tire punctures, the car has only been in the shop for annual maintenance. It is great fun to drive. Here is a pic from a track day.
