P0488-72
So Had my 2012 v6 for about 6 months and done around 5k in that time with no issues until yesterday when it started to stutter after about a minute the reduced performance light came on and was able to get car up home.
Fired up SDD and got p0488-72 code which is EGR valve malfunction, cleared code and engine ran fine. This morning took on a test drive down A1 and after a few miles same thing happened with same code, i had taken my laptop with me so cleared code again and this time started the live data as i knew code would come back on way home which it did. The live data of both EGR seem to show both working fine at time of code being set.
Dismantled the inlet body today and it was caked in carbon, the ends of the pipes from EGR where about 75% blocked so cleaned it all up, the Map sensor was also caked in carbon so no idea how/if it was still reading pressure.
Not had time to ry it again but will do in next day or two as its not my daily driver. If code comes back looks like i will need to dig down to remove ERG valves, Is Bank 1 on left or right when standing in front of car?

It seems you are in Blighty (driving down the A1) and you have a 3.0 V6 diesel (clogged EGR valve).
If so you are better off trying the Pommy forum here: https://www.jaginfo.org// as no diesel Jag has ever been sold in the US and this is a US based forum.
