Assuming you have an X250 and not an X260 it should be on the overhead console, a button marked "P".
I don't know where it is on the X260 but very likely in the same place.

The reverse comes on automatic, but you have to hit that switch for the forward sensors to operate. I use it everyday pulling into my garage. A feature I didn't really pay attention to but is actually very useful.
