I am going to be an XF owner, not rich enough for the XFR, but I'm interested in going to the performance academy and pay for it myself. Anyone heard of anyone doing this? I haven't called Jaguar to ask, but just curious if anyone else has done this and how much it cost.

It is on the "registration" page. I heard a rumor that they may be letting people in now since a lot were asking if they could pay to go.

Which event were you thinking of going to?

I'm register for the event on May 28th at the Monticello Motor Club, NY
I will give you my feedback after the event.
It was an easy process for me, as I'm the owner of the new 2010 XKR Coupe.
I just had to call them and give them the last 6 digit of the VIN # to be registered. They then give you a PIN Number that you use to register on the Web.
A letter of confirmation and a nice brochure with the description of the program is then Mail few days after, and a confirmation Email as well.
They want to make sure you own an XFR or XKR. I'm not sure it's open (even if you pay), for other Jaguar model.

I will still check when I will be there.
