Hello everyone out in the Jaguar world I have a question so I just bought the piece for the outside plastic pillar between the driver and the passenger door mine was cracked everyone knows that little piece between the two doors and the dealer wants $700 to repair it for me that is their labor cost which is over 295 an hour so I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion can I do this myself it looks complicated I don't want to break anything has anyone done this before or can they recommend what I should do any help would be great help thank you

 

I did mine. It was not difficult at all. As I recall I pulled the weatherstripping away, removed some screws, pulled the old one out, and reversed the procedure to install the new one. Take your time and make sure it’s aligned properly.
