I've recently acquired a new model 2011 XF. All good but the trim around the dash screen has lost chrome - as has the middle bottom plastic part of the steering wheel (which is now almost black as the chrome has almost all gone). Similar problem with the o/s rear window trim (although I've read here that this isn't plastic). I intend to get the car a service and claim these under warranty (ends in November). I assume these would be valid claims? Any other thoughts re checks before warranty runs out????

 

Not sure why your warranty ends in November. 2011's have 5 year 50k warranty. Would think your covered for the issues you mention.

 

Not in the Uk I think!! It's 3 years in the book. Interesting that they do that in States though! In any event I'm on 93k. Thanks anyway.
