Default Power Steering

So I realized that I have a problem with power steering and I figured out after calling many maintenance shops that it is a power steering fluid problem. I checked the fluid and it is below minimum. I also checked the ground and it is slightly wet in a small circular area even when it was 0 degrees outside. It also smelled. How much do you think it will cost to repair if the hose needs replacement?

Are you sure it's the hose? I had a leaking power steering pump on my 2010 XF SC. Apparently not an unusual issue (not as common as the water pumps which fail often). Fortunately CPO warranty covered it, so I can't answer your actual question on cost. If it's just a hose, buy the part and get an independent specialist to fit it - am sure it will be cheaper... But worth checking that the pump itself isn't leaking first..
