Problems with Bluetooth cabin lights?
Hi, I can't seem to get my Iphone 5 to dock so I can listen to music via blue-tooth or through the USB port. Is it compatible? I feel like I've tried everything but to no avail. Also at night when I open any of the doors, the interior lights do not come on, I can't find a switch that might be turning them off. It's so hard to see inside the car with just the blue lights. has anyone else had this problem/know how to fix them? I have the 2009 supercharged XF.
Can't help you with the iphone problem. I suspect the 2009 bluetooth software is not compatible with the new iphone and I don't think it can be updated. Others on this forum may have better information.
However, if the lights in the overhead can be turned on or off by touching their lenses, then the entrance courtesy lights can be switched from manual to automatic or vice-versa by touching the overhead center light lens for more than 2 seconds. I think the status selected is confirmed by a momentary message center indication.
You may wish to download the operators manual for your 2009. If so, check the sticky messages at the beginning of the XF thread.
