Doing this next week....
Oven works but do yourself favor a get a $20 torch so you can heat it up good right close to the car. If it cools before you get it all the way on, you'll be cutting the new one off too..LOL And be sure the SC shaft is polished up spotless for the install.

I might have missed this but has anyone been able to confirm horse power after the pulley and tune upgrade on a 4.2 s/c ?

Do you have to get the tune and if you do how high can you go? XFR hp for that model year?

Thanks

I'll let you know in about two weeks. 5.0 Supercharged
1st dyno run on the DynoDynamics 403HP at the wheels. - Bone Stock

Just put on full exhaust, sport cats, sport mufflers. Another dyno run June 23. we will see the benefit of exhaust.
Then....
1.5 pully and tune followed by another dyno pull to get the final numbers....

Default Pulley changing Fun!

I'm hoping to get mine rerun Saturday. planning on getting there an hour early and cooling everything down first for a glory run. Lack of heat soak and the supercharger coolant pump working properly should give me the best realistic number for my car.

Looking to forward to seeing the exhaust numbers to see how much your work improved hp as I don't remember anyone doing just exhaust then dyno
