Default purchased a 2012 XF

Just Picked up a 2012 XF down in Tucson. We live in Wa. State so we are enjoying our drive back. It is a beautiful car, Indigo blue with dove grey/charcoal interior. A few months ago we decided to get a new (new to us) car. Took a look at the Caddy CTS and took one for a test drive, nice looking but the 3.0 V6 was very under powered. The Jag dealer was just down the road so we test drove a 2010 XF. Very nice.

So we began the search, ended up locating a car in Tucson with the color combo we wanted and we went for it. The power of the internet. So we jumped on a plane in Seattle flew down to Tucson and picked it up. Just taking our time on the way back and making a nice road trip out of it. We are now a two Jag family, also have a 95 XJS. Why not you only live once.

Thanks for the positive comments. Still on the road, will post pics in a couple of days. This car is so smooth and quiet, a real pleasure to drive. Had it up to 110mph, wasn't even breathing hard. Weeeeee

I think our jags are still speed limited to 120 mph....you were almost there!

I drove mine flat out for several miles right after it was run in: it held 200 km/hr (120 mph) with my foot on the floor, round corners and up and down hills, right at the speed limiter. Not even working hard, in Europe these cars will do 155 mph.

In a Jag, it's not so much about driving at 120 or more, it's about the fun of getting there....

(hey, that sounded like a commercial jingle)

Jaguar XF in Romania: I,m very disseponted by my Jag XF 2012 bought from Jaguar dealer in Romania. Till 94000 km i had the following problems: direction problem from 0 KM, Cooler system broken from 0Km till 60.000 km, electrical problems, EGR system broken, etc, few days ago I got red advetirment RED FAULT for me is a disaster. The dealer from Romania has the worst service here, in Romania( they offer small salalries and the workers are bad trained) I know over 100 owners of Range rover and Jaguar and all of them complain about this dealer call it Tiriac Auto. I,m asking myself why a company with tradition as Jaguar is making business with this company wellknown in Romania for bad service. Also Premium auto their importator in Romania, when they sold me the car they put me to pay 250 euros for car mats( the car came new without..) I had more than ten friend habe in their mind to buy Jaguar, no one wants jaguar car anymore forever.
