Default Radiator cooling fanpart # C2D38737 ... quality aftermarket units?

Hi,

I'm looking for recommendations for aftermarket radiator cooling fans for a 2011 5.0 n/a (Jaguar part # C2D38737). The Jaguar part is ridiculously expensive at over US$1100. I can buy another car here in Korea for the price of the Jaguar part. The cheap units on Ali are generally very poor quality, so don't bother with them unless you know differently from experience.

I saw a Continental VDO unit, part # FA1751. Does anyone have experience with this unit?

I need advice as soon as possible.

Thanks!

FCP Euro doesn’t list a direct aftermarket replacement. Instead they show universal fans from Spal and Mishimoto. Fitting a universal fan shouldn’t be too hard.

Thanks, but I doubt the Jag electronics would be happy with that.

Default Continental VDO fan DOA

Well, I ordered the Continental VDO unit mentioned in the first post. It is DOA and a surprisingly poor fit, too. Even the electrical connector is very poor quality. The fan has a sticker indicating it was made in Taiwan. It's on the way back to the retailer for a refund, but I'm out of pocket for the international delivery fee and import fees and taxes, which is enough to buy a couple of mainland China units via Ali. I thought that Continental VDO would be a safe bet, especially when compared with the mainland China units. Ahh ... live and learn.

If you can find an XJ/XF/F-Type in the junk yard?
Pretty rare car's in general and tough to find in the junk yard.
I usually get parts off EBay because of the lack of any local supply.
