Had my windshield replaced on Friday and today it was raining for the first time on my drive so I turned on the auto wipers. There is no auto feature working they are simply running at one intermittent speed regardless of where you move the min and max. He had the car off when he pulled the sensors and mirror. He is coming back out tomorrow for a look but of we don't live in a heavily populated Jag area so it might have been one of the first XFs he has done that wasn't an auction car so he wouldnt know if the sensor didn't work. Is there a reset for it or something easy. He put in Pilkington glass so it should be as close to original as you can get.

 

After my glass replacement the sensor was not seated correctly and the auto feature did not work well. It could be that or he may have forgot to plug it back in. Did you try pulling the wiper stalk toward you to reset it?

 

Yeah, just tried that. Even tried pulling them up for wiper replacement and then back down. Nodda.

 

My glass guy stopped by and it seems he missed connecting it to the harness. All good again.
