Hi

My XF has a rattle that I have identified as under the bonnet up by the windscreen under the plastic strip that runs the width of the car held on with clips. If I remove this cover there is a bunch of wires that run into a chunk of rubber. If I press down on that rubber the rattle stops. I have tried putting something under the plastic to stop the rattle without success. The rattle is only evident at tick over or low revs as I am slowing down.

Any ideas please?
