Default Replacing Interior Control Labels

The white lettering identifying positions on my headlight control and for my gear shift were dissolved by an over-achieving auto detailer. Is there an economical way for an individual or a shop to replace those labels? Or is the only option an expensive part replacement by the dealer? The detailer arbitrarily decided to scrub off the sticky coating on the console buttons (for which I have found Goo Gone works well), but I have no idea what they were thinking or using on the headlight control. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I'm not sure what you can do with the headlamp stalk beyond replacing it. For the gear shift, do you mean the lettering in front of the rotating gear selector? If so, you can replace the whole trim piece either with black or brushed aluminium. There are lots of offerings on Ali Express and also a few on Amazon. I replaced mine with brushed aluminium (it just sticks over the (carefully degreased with isopropanol) existing trim piece and looks very good).

Your recommendations are much appreciated! Very reasonable solutions.
