Sat Nav "stuck" in another country

Sat Nav "stuck" in another country
Jag XF 2013
My sat nav " home ' location is embedded in Brussels
I live in Galway West of Ireland.
Despite trying to add my ACTUAL home actual location by adding it from the Nav -Stored locations-Add route I can not get rid of its own stored and presumed home location ie.Brussels I am defeated each time I restart the car.
I have tried deleting ALL stored locations but it will not erase the high def. resolution of streets in ANOTHER COUNTRY
Any advice anyone ?
Sure ! I know its an idiotic query and has probably been dealt with here previously But I can't find this specific prob and it's resolution via the search engine above.
All advice will be much appreciated

1. has the SatNav ever shown the correct country since you acquired the vehicle?
2. if YES, have you tried using Restore System Defaults in the Settings Menu?

Mine keeps asking me to choose the language after every restart..
North-up is always selected also... Very annoying !!!
I can select and change everything but it doesn't remember after restart...
Stored locations and such settings is working just fine !!!

did you ever solve this? I have exactly the same problem with the same model Jaguar in Dublin.
