Default Sat Radio 'missing' on my just acquired 2009

I have a 2009 XF Prem Lux (Canadian) which does not have Sat Radio built in and controllable by the Dash LCD Screen.
Did it come with 2009s? Or was it an option?
Main Question - Is it available from any source as an add-on?
OR do I just have to use a separate Sirius Radio on its own (plugged into the Aux Input)
Love the car by the way!!
Thanks

I never heard of such a thing. These cars had NAV as standard equipment. No screen?

In the US, I think that all models were equipped with the Sat radio. In Canada, I'm not sure. The best thing to do is talk to a dealer there to see if you have any option to install the OEM Sat radio.

Default Canadian Jag dealer says

there is no add-on solution to add a hidden sat receiver and software/firmware to connect to and be controlled by the display screen that I of course have.
So I guess I'll have to get a separate sat receiver I think.
Unless a U.S. Jag dealer would have a different answer.
Thanks for your input.

Even though I do have the integrated Sat on my 2011 XF Premium, it cannot receive the XM channel I listen to almost exclusively (The Opie and Anthony channel) so I have a portable XM receiver that I keep in the center console. It of course has power and audio connections right inside. The Antenna I ran in the black metal part of the front windshield all the way at the bottom near the passenger door. It is held in place magnetically and I was able to very easily fish it in the door jamb then behind the glove box and then along the center console and into the compartment. No one could ever tell it was there and it required no holes or drilling.

Check the Sirius XM web site, I do not think sat radio is available in Canada. My XF Premium came with Sirius and not XM. XM does have programming that Sirius does not. I have not idea why.
