We just collected our new (to us) 2014 XF S Sportbrake as our new family car. I have SDD v131 on my laptop that works pretty well on my 2010 XKR but SDD won't talk to the XF, just says I need to fall back to the legacy IDS software. I suspect I need to update SDD to a later version to work with the XF, what's the minimum version required to talk to an XF of that age? Ours has the later 2.1 touchscreen/infotainment system, I gather.

 

I found the same when going from a 2007 XK to a 2014 XK. There may be earlier compatible SDD versions but I went directly to SDD v1.50 (current at the time) which solved the problem.
