Default Speaker Grilles Easily Removable?

My 2012's speakers are rattling, and I'm fairly sure it's the grille covers making the noise. They look like they just pop off if I slid something underneath them - but before I break anything, I wanted to make sure sliding a thin blade or flat head is the correct way to remove them before insulating?

I would remove the door panels, as they may not go back in.

Same thing is happening to me. While I am listening to music if I press on the grills the noise goes away. I was thinking to remove and put some type of thin foam between the sides so it fit snug. I also need a solution.

I know this is an old thread, but I am dealing with the exact issue on my 2012. Were you guys able to fix this?
