Hi guys I hav a 2008(58) xf 2.7 diesel,the engine turns over but doesn't fire up after 4 or 5 attempts it'll start , has been on a diagnostic but no codes problem has worsened over a period of 12 months any ideas would be appreciated thx

 

When was the last time the battery's been changed? It's probably about to die and can't produce enough CCA to turn the car over. I would change that first before spending money on expensive repairs.

Or could be glow plugs.

 

that's what I was thinking he should check next, but I wasn't sure if Jags had them.
