Xf 2011 3.0


having some issues with steering wobble throughout the speed ranges.


Works carried out so far are as follows.

-front brakes

-banana arms

-n/s upper arm

-o/s inner tie and rod end

-swapped wheels front to back

- 4 wheel alignment

-nsf wheel was been (now repaired)


The wobble is worse at 70mph but i feel like can still notice it on the lower speeds (not sure if in my head)


The only thing i have noticed is the n/s brakes do make a sqeaking sound sometimes. This is not when braking, just normal driving.



Really running out of ideas now and i have a 7 hour commute on Friday which is worrying me a little. Any advise welcome!

 

Given all the work already done I'm sure front tire/wheel balance has been checked/corrected.

Right?

If the wobble is speed specific w/o brakes that's usually the culprit.
